Modified Soccer Spring 2015 Registration - All levels are full and rosters final
At this time we are not taking any further late registrations for the Spring 2015 Modified program (ages 4-10).  The Fall 2015 season registration will open on May 1st.
Kent Cornucopia Cup Tournament 2015
Kent Cornucopia Cup 2015, hosted by Kent United, is pleased to announce the dates, locations, and fees for 2015.
  • Tournament Dates:  July 10 - 12, 2015
  • Four games guaranteed for U11 and up
  • Three games Jamboree for U10
  • Rec, Select and RCL C teams or lower can enter

Spring Skills Academy - Registration is Open
You have been asking for it. We even added another session this year. The KCYS Skills Academy is open to any player ages U5 to U16 that would like to benefit from additional technical training from our professionally trained UK International coaching staff! This skills academy consists of four 90 minute training sessions.
This academy consists of 3 training sessions and will cover the following topics:

Week 1: Friday, April 17th  - Passing & Receiving - Improving a players understanding on the correct techniques when passing and receiving the ball. We will also address the thought process of selecting the correct pass.
Week 2: Friday, April 25th - Dribbling & Decision Making - Improving a players technique to maintain control of the ball and dribble past players. We will also take time to look at deciding when to dribble the ball and pass the ball.
Week 3: Friday, May 1st – Finishing & Creating Scoring Opportunities - Improving a players ability to shoot with various parts of the foot and look at when to use certain techniques. We will also look at movements on and off the ball to creating a scoring opportunity.
Week 4: Friday, May 8th – Defending & Positional Play - Developing an understanding of ways to win the ball back and where to be on the field of play to restrict scoring opportunities for the opposition players.
5:00pm - 6:30pm: U5 - U9 Boys and Girls
6:30pm - 8:00pm: U10 and Above Boys and Girls

Cost
60.00 for all 4 sessions or $20.00 per individual session (no t-shirt or ball included for this program)

Participants do not have to be currently playing in the spring season.  We are using the same online registration system we use for the spring and fall season for these clinics.
Fall 2015 Modified/ Rec Soccer Sponsorship
KYSA is currently looking for Modified team sponsors for the Fall 2015 season.  This helps keep our soccer programs affordable for everyone and is a great way to get positive exposure for your business, your employer, or your favorite local restaurant. Deadline for the Fall season is July 15th.
 - The cost to sponsor a team is $150.00 per season
 - Your company logo will be on the team's uniforms as well as on the KCYS website


You can choose one season or many, depending on your funding ability.  If you are interested in a more substantial sponsorship opportunity, please reach out to the KCYS board for more information.   If interested in either the team or league sponsorship please contact Nicole Jensen at cpfd@kysa.org
Spring Goalkeeper Academy - Registration is Open
The KCYS Goalkeeper Academy is open to any player ages U7 to U16 that would like to benefit from additional technical training from our professionally trained UK International coaching staff! This academy consists of two 90 minute training sessions.
The Spring Academy consists of 2 training sessions and will cover the following topics:
Week 1: Friday, May 15th  - Master of the Basics - Improving the basic techniques and core skills involved in  being a Goalkeeper.
Week 2: Friday, May 29th – Become the Shot-Stopper -  Improving the techniques involved in shot stopping and collecting the soccer in pressure.
Sessions will run each Friday as following groups:
5:00pm - 6:30pm: U7 - U9 Boys and Girls
6:30pm - 8:00pm: U10 and Above Boys and Girls

Cost
$30.00 for all 2 sessions or $20.00 per individual session (no t-shirt or ball included for this program)
Participants do not have to be currently playing in the spring season.

Currently Kent United is looking for players to fill roster spots on two teams.  Dave Cohen, coach of the boys U15 teams, is looking for a few players to fill their roster. Kent United Looking For Coaches
Are you passionate about soccer?  Do you enjoy working with youth soccer players?
